Manuela Porceddu is an Italian/Dutch artist living in Dordrecht, NL. She graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy (Rotterdam, NL), in 2003. Right after graduating she started a graphic design studio with Derk Reneman. They worked together until 2010, working for and with various artists and numerous cultural institutions and clients..

The studio’s interest in art, journalism and social fiction organically attracts hybrid projects — based on mixtures of (community) art, photography and print. This and the believe that imagination is a social practice that has the power to change how and what we see (in the future), forms the basis for Manuela’s current work.
